AGS Activity and Patch Challenge
As you read in the recent newsletter, the AGS presented a society activity of using a 2 to 3" gourd shard to express your interest, technique, equipment exploration, or inspiration. YeeHAA!! That's what we Crackled Apples DO BEST - critically think through innovation! To add to the challenge, and making it purposeful, what about this? What can you do with this challenge and combine it with a Dollar Tree nightlight?

Mike's Colossals on the 4th
Mike, from the Lynchburg Laugh & Scratch patch, made these colossals to mimic the USA flag for the VLGS show. They are a show-stopper in the neighborhood during the July 4th festivities this year as well. Thanks, Mike - you keep us inspired!
The driveway was also abuzz with the gourdhead selfie boards we made for the Newtown Heritage Festival. Next year we hope to have a 4'x8' plyboard selfie to add to The Commons with the others. Didn't realize how many people love selfies!
