Spacing on a gourd for drilling holes or making consistent lines can be challenging. There are many ways to do it involving rubber bands, flexible tubing, and sets of rings. Cross the string at the site where you want to make the circle. |

The circle of beads is placed where it is needed for measurement. If too small, uncross the beads and cross again to make the circle bigger. |
